793 rd Yoga, Pranamyam & Mediation Camp ( Dec 1, 2017 - Dec10, 2017): Under personal guidance of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj, Yogasan, Pranayam and Meditation camp was organized at Sivananda Ashram. In spite of cold, rains and state election, a large number of lovers of yoga crowded with great enthusiasm. Voluntary blood donation camp was organized during this yoga camp.
Devi Bhagavat Mahapuran Katha ( Dec 24, 2017 - Dec 31, 2017): A holy Sri Devi Bhagavat Mahapuran Katha for seven days was organized at Sri Sri Sri Ashta Lakshmi Adi Shakti Peeth of Sivananda Ashram and H.H. Sri Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj adorned Vyasa Peeth. Holy Katha dealt with the glory of cosmic energy known as Maa Amba, Sri Jagdamba, Sri Mahakali, Sri Maha Lakshmi, Sri Maha Saraswati and glimpse of grace of Goddess Durga upon life of Lord Sri Krishna, Sri Rama, Sri Shiva and rest of the universal phenomenon was narrated by Pujya Swamiji through the medium of this Katha, spiritual discourse with musical tone blended in wonderful, as always. It was a loving gesture of Smt. Rupal and Sri Rahul to organize this grand event on the happy occasion of Golden (50 th) wedding Jubilee of their parents Smt. Prajnaben and Sri Kaushikbhai Dhruv. May God Gurudev bless them all !
39th YTTC ( Dec 12, 2017 - Dec 30, 2017) through
Sivananda Institute of Vedant-Yoga Academy ( SIVA) at Sivananda Ashram,
Ahmedabad - Other than Indian students, yoga lovers from U.S.A.,
Russia, Canada, Germany, Mexico, Slovakia also joined the program. Altogether,
220 hours education was imparted during the course. Yogasana, Pranayam,
Meditation, Kriya, Mudra, Bandha, Art of relaxation, Gita, Patanjal Yoga Sutras
and basic knowledge of Anatomy, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Science of Dieting,
Ayurveda, Sanskrit, Philosophy and Psychology of Yoga and Science of Natural
healing Reiki was imparted during the course. H. H. Sri Swami
Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj governs the program. Dr. Ashok Nirwan, Dr. Varsha Dave,
Dr. Amish Kshatriya, Dr. Bhavdeep Ganatra,, Dr. Mihir Upadhyay, Sanskrit
scholar(PHD), Mrs. Chidrupini (Dietician ), Ms. Sangeeta Thawani (Yoga Prachar
Ratna ), Mrs. Rupa Majmudar (Reiki Grand Master ), Sri Atul Parikh etc.
conducted the course.
Ms. Sonal, Ms. Sheela Darbar, Sri Vikram Mistry, Sri Dipen Shah and Mr. Mukesh
assisted the program. Written, oral and practical examinations were conducted
and Award Presentation
was organized on 30 th December evening. Dr. Mayur Patel,Diabetologist )
presented the award and distributed the certificates.
On Dec 15, 2017, a special dance recital was organized at open air theatre of Nritya Bharati for the students of YTTC. Program of Sivananda Ashram. Thanks to Nritya Guru Sri Chandan Thakor for this kind and generous act.
Satsang and tours of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Mahahraj during the Month of November 2017
Timbi - On Dec 7, 2017 Shodashi Bhandara of Brahmalin H. H. Sri Swami Nirdoshanandaji Maharaj of Sri Swami Jagadeeshanand Ashram, Timbi ( Vallabhipur ) was organized forenoon. More than 200 saints and sages and approximately 60000 devotees gathered from all the four corners of Gujarat. H. H. Sri Bholananda Bapu and H. H. Sri Sadananda Bapu, two disciples of Revered Sri Nirdoshanandaji Maharaj conducted the program. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj graced the occasion.
Diet camp (Dec 5, 2017 - Dec 10, 2017) : A special camp on change of natural
diet was organized for six days at Sivananda Ashram. Here, it was advocated to
cultivate a habit of row food which
helps to be free from obesity, heart and lungs problems, blood pressure and
joint pain etc. About 200 enthusiasts joined the program. Rev. Sri Swami
Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj inaugurated the camp.
On Dec 12, 2017 Fourth annual punya tithi aradhana of third Acharya
Mahamandaleshwar of Gita Mandir Brahmalin Srimat Swami Mangalanandaji Maharaj
was celebrated with great
enthusiasm at Gita Mandir, Ahmedabad. Most worshipful Revered Gurudev Sri
Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj was hosted by the then Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Srimat
Swami Vidyananda Maharaj during Gurudev Swami Sivanandaji’s all India and
Colombo tour in 1952. Hence, Sivananda Ashram will remain always highly indebted
to the saints and management of Gita Mandir. Revered Sri Swami Mangalanandaji
Maharaj always used to grace Sivananda Ashram in the evening of festival of
Diwali. Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj presided over the
congregation.
On Dec 17, 2017 Mitray Adhyatmik Mandal members organized meditation with Dance and Music program by renowned Prem Joshua and his party. Revered Sri Swamiji was invited for the program. He with YTTC students and teaching staff attended the function. Revered Swamiji, in his address to the crowd said that there is no ‘I’ here. It is an experience of Bliss Absolute. Everything was simply superb and divine.
Asarwa , Ahmedabad (Dec 18, 2017) Forth Punya Tithi Bhandara of
Brahmalin Mahamandaleshwar H. H. Sri Swami Shivramgiriji Maharaj was organized
at 350 years old organization Sri Nilkhantha Akhada at Asarwa. Reverd Sri Swami
Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj graced the occasion. Hundreds of sadhus came from all
over India.
On Dec 19, 2017 J. G. School of Performing Arts’ annual function was presided by Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Rev. Swamiji Maharaj inaugurated it by lightening the lamp and said that this is the school not only to teach performing arts, but, its catering the Science of value based education, character and pure conduct. Sri Swamiji was invited for this function by Mr. John G. Varghese, founder of this school.
