Sivanand Ashram 's contribution for flood relief Operation

 

We have motivated the students of different schools to contribute Dal-Rice, and accordingly the students had brought minimum 1 kg. of food material from their home. More than 10 schools had actively participated, and in all 3.2 tons (3200 kg.) ‘rice and pulse’ were collected. Yog-shala, Science City Road, Ahmedabad contributed 1410 kg of wheat flour (Aata), and other individuals have also donated in all 400 kg wheat floor (aata) consisting packets of 5 or 10 kg. In all 130 people contributed wheat flour (Aata). Over and above NSS volunteers from L.D. Engineering College were also actively associated with Sivanand Ashram and they also collected 1.5 ton food material like packet foods, Shukhdi, Khakhra, clothes and tooth brushes.

 In all more than 2900 students contributed the food material. The collected material as stated above were sent by truck to Deesa, Banaskantha where the Samast Mahajan has its Co-ordination centre, especially occupied for the relief mission where the volunteers are working round the clock. Six students of L.D. Engineering College went along with material on 14.08.2017, and with the workers of Samast Mahajan distributing the provided supplies and are conducting survey in the area. The Sivanand Ashram has supplied 39,500 kg. of fodder (dry) for  animals and is soon going to supply approximately 1,20,000 kg. fodder in the most affected Panjarapole and Gaushala. Our associate NGO Samast Mahajan had already supplied more than 300 truck fodders (green /dry) uptill now and within couple of weeks, they are going to supply more than 700 trucks. The workers of this organization are active round the clock since last three weeks.

Adhyatma Tour 2017 to USA, Canada & UK (June 27, 2017 - Aug 30, 2017) of Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj commenced from Chicago on June 27, 2017. It took him to Toronto, Charlotte, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Toledo (OH), Troy (MI), San Jose area, Madison, Milwaukee & Chicago to continue to UK and HE will be back to the Ashram on Sept 1, 2017. It is all the grace & blessings of Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj & Guru Maharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj.

Pujya Swamiji's divine satsang and yoga teaching have brought joy, peace & bliss to countless spiritual aspirants and yoga enthusiasts in the West. HE received warm welcome everywhere He went.
