Month of September was full of activities at the Ashram. It commenced with arrival of H. H. Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj from HIS "Adhyatma Tour 2014" to USA, Canada & UK. Devotees at the Ashram were in Jubilant mood to receive their Beloved Pujya Sri Swamiji after two and half months away on Tour. People went to receive Pujya Swamiji at the airport and gave HIM warm welcome that followed satsang at the ashram on arrival.
Condolence meeting was held in the memory of Sri Ramakrishna Sonar Saheb, a secretary of the Ashram, who passed away when Swamiji was on HIS Tour. Also, at the meeting Sri Vijaybhai Soni was appointed as a new Secretary of the ashram, which was proposed by Sri Arun Oza Saheb and supported by Mrs. Rupa Majmudar.
127th Birth Anniversary of Gurudev Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj on Sept 8, 2014 was celebrated with special Satsang, Paduka Pujan and poor feeding. Large number of devotees join in Paduka Poojan, satsang, bhajans and kirtans in the evening.
99th Birth Anniversary of Gurumaharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj ( Sept 24, 2014). A special satsang, paduka poojan, and poor feeding was performed on Gurumaharaj Birth anniversary. Large number of devotees joined in the satsang.
Mauna Shibir at Nareshwar (Sept 11, 2014 - Sept 15, 2014): A sincere group of spiritual seekers accompanied with Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj rejoiced five days in total silence at "Rang Sadan", Nareshwar at the bank of Holy river Narmada. Twenty six spiritual aspirant attended the "Mauna" Retreat. It was four meditation sessions, each of two hours. And in the evening temple service from 6.30pm -7.30 pm. Salt less, sugarless & spice less satvik food was served. Thanks to Dr. Sri Indubhai Dave for his selfless service and making all the arrangements of stay, food etc He is a chief of Sri Rang Sadan. All the Sadhakas expressed the feeling of gratitude for their peaceful time with the SELF through such retreat.
Navaratri Festival or Devi worship ( Sept 25, 2014 – Oct 3, 2014) A holy Navaratri festival, ten days of Devi worship commenced on Sept 25, 2014. A group chanting of Srimad Bhagvad Gita all eighteen chapter in the forenoon and Sri Durga Saptasati parayan in the afternoon followed by Garba at night. On Ashtami day havan & Kanya Pujan was performed. Nine days worship culminated on Oct 3, 2014 on Dassera day with gifts distribution to about four hundred children.
Satsang and Tours of H.H. Swami Adhyatmaanndaji during the Month of October 2014
Surat (Sept 21, 2014) : A satsang was organized at Surat by the branch of The
Divine Life Society, Surat. A large number of devotees rejoiced Revered. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji's presence. Sri Swamiji's
talked about daily Sadhana, In His words, "Be sincere in your
Spiritual Sadhana, follow the instructions of Guru Bhagwan Sri Swami
Chidanandaji Maharaj, do Japa, Meditation and Service to needy, poor and down
trodden is the real Centenary Celebration of Revered Gurudev Srimat Swami
Chidanandaji Maharaj".
A grand meeting was organized by National Federation of LIC agents at famous Sanjeev Kumar Hall at Surat. Sri Swamiji gave an inspiring message to the
agents for increasing their potential in their profession. Managing Director of
LIC Division Surat, Mr. Hemant Buch, Mr. Tripathi were the dignitaries among
the others. Tree Plantation was done in the premises of their
Auditorium.
Navsari (Sept 12, 2014 - Sept 22, 2014)) : The Divine Life Society of Navsari branch organized Sri Swamiji’s Satsang at famous Sri Ramji Mandir Tekari
Hall, which was attended by mammoth gatherings. At late night Swamiji Maharaj
enlightened Sri Rang Parivar devotees, who all were doing week long Parayan of
"Sri Guru Lilamruta", sacred granth, full of wisdom written by Sri Sri Sri
Rang Avadhut Maharaj of Nareshwar.
On Sept 22, 2014 Sri Swami Adhyatmanadaji spoke to National Federation of LIC
group at Navsari. It was held at famous Tata Memorial Hall at mid-day
12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. Swamiji's motivational speech was appreciated by LIC
agents at Navasari district.
Rajkot (Sept 28, 2014) : Honoring humble invitation of all Nagar Mandal of
Rajkot, Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj visited Rajkot for a day long hectic
trip. In the after noon, Swamiji’s five talks were recorded by All India Radio,
Rajkot. Swamiji enlightened on Spiritual significance of Navaratri - Devi
worship, the worship of God as Mother. The purpose of Navaratri celebration is
"Self Control", HE said.
