Centenary Celebrations Tour 2016 (June 22, 2016 - July 31, 2016) of

 Chidananda Birth Centernary Celebration Tour 2016 of  H.H.Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji has concluded on Aug 1, 2016. Devotees here in the West expressed their love, joy & gratitude in their own ways to be a part of this memorable event.

The highlights of the tour is Centenary Celebrations of Brother Monks Gurumaharaj Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj and H. H. Sri Swami Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj at Chicago, Chinmaya Mission at Atlanta and Chinmaya Mission at Houston, Mandir Mahotsv at Bharatiya Temple, Troy (MI), Pranpratishta mahotsav at Sri Jalaram Mandir, Chicago, Yoga Teachers Training at Kula-Kamala Ashram, a story of a devotee's offering of a Thepla (Indian roti) Thal and more.....  Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji released a booklet “Divinity - Chidananda Thy Name” commemorating the birth centenary of Pujya Swami Chidanandaji at Atlanta. Chidananda Sevashram brought out this booklet which displays the life and teachings of Swamiji in pictures and words. An impressive documentary was shown on the saintly personality of Pujya Swami Chidanandaji.

Arrival at Chicago (June 22, 2016)

Chidananda Centenary Celebration Tour 2016 of Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji has commenced from Chicago. As always, with joy Pujya Swamiji was received by Naik's. There was a severe Tornado warning that day and we were a bit tense and got ready with a big umbrella to receive  Sri Swamiji but at the time of the landing of the plane every thing got cleared, smiling rays of the Sun God came out and then as we reached home and were on the driveway Rain God sprinkled a few "ami-chatna" and welcomed Sri Swamiji Maharaj. All the grace & blessings of God Gurudev Sri Swami Sivannadaji Maharaj & GuruMaharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj !

In the evening, Gita study group members gave warm welcome with Purna Kumbham to Pujya Swamiji Maharaj. They arranged Chinmaya & Chidananda Centenary Celebration satsang at Naik's holy abode. It is indeed a rare privilege, we all felt blessed !     

The next day (July 23, 2016), was supposed to be a day of rest period for Swamiji after the long air travel, but honoring the request of devotees, we had two satsang one at Smt. Rakshaben & Sri. Prafulbhai at lunch time (12 pm - 3.00pm) where Swamiji gave a talk on the subject of  "Guru Mahima" and second in the evening (7.00 pm - 9.00pm) at Smt. Indiraben & Sri Kiranbhai where Swamiji gave a talk on family values & culture, raising the Children.

On the July 24, 2016 Sri Swamiji departed for His next program center to Troy, Michigan around 10 am, after celebrating 82 ^nd Birthday of Revered Sri Rameshbhai Pandya. The call was received from Sri Pandya ji that he has intense wish to receive Pujya Swamiji's blessings on his actual birthday, so it was fulfilled !     

As such, Chicago program is scheduled from July 5, 2016  - July 8, 2016

Troy, Michigan (June 24, 2016 - June 29, 2016)

Sri Anil Lal, President, Divya Jivan Sanskrutik Sangh (USA) received Revered Swamiji at Detroit airport. In the evening welcome program and grand satsang was organized at Bharatiya Temple, Troy (MI).  June 25^th & 26^th  were crowded with temple program establishing holy flag post in the front of Bharatiya Temple, which was actually followed after a grand Yajna and worship of the Lord. During His stay Sri Swamiji graced and blessed number of families upon their request and had home satsang, as well he conducted daily Yoga class at Bharatiya Temple. Thanks to Smt. Meera Lal and Sri Anil Lal and his team of committed and dedicated members of Divya Jivan Sanskrutik Sangh (USA).

Toledo, Ohio (June 29, 2016 - July 1, 2016)

In the afternoon of  June 29 ^th Revered Swamiji arrived at Toledo (Ohio). In the evening satsang at Hindu Temple Swamiji shared the secrets of Sri Hanuman Chalisa. Morning Yoga work shop was conducted the next day. Thanks to Pandit Sri Anant Dixitji, President Sri Anand Bhahmee Ji, Smt. Bindu Mistry &  Lungani family for supporting Revered Swamiji’s visit to Toledo.

Charlotte, North Carolina ( July 1, 2016 -July 3, 2016)  

On July 1, afternoon Pujya Swamiji was received by a devote couple Smt. Bhabani & Sri Santanu Sarkar. At the evening satsang, Swamiji gave a talk on family values and nurturing our children with rich Indian Heritage. Eat together & pray together everyday, stay united to be stronger & better. 

On the next day, Sri Pareshbhai & Smt. Illaben organized puja at their beautiful home shrine. That followed Swamiji's talk particularly address to children to keep higher goal in life, strive hard and achieve it, nothing is impossible. Swamiji emphasised that prayer is must, pray everyday, be transparent and pure. Only clean heart can see the God. On the Morning july 3rd Swamiji left for Atlanta.

Atlanta Program (July 3, 2016 & July 4, 2016 )

ATLANTA COMMUNITY CELEBRATE PUJYA SWAMI CHIDANANDAJI’S BIRTH CENTENARY :  Atlanta, GA: Atlanta community with partnering associations, viz., Chinmaya Mission Atlanta, Hindu temple of Atlanta, Gandhi foundation of USA, Siddhi Vinayak temple, Global Mall and other partnering institutions celebrated birth centenary of Pujya Swami Chidanandaji. Chidananda Saraswati was President of the Divine Life Society, Rishikesh, India. He is well known worldwide as a yogi, jnani and spiritual leader. He succeeded as President of the Divine Life Society in 1963, after the death of his predecessor, Sivananda Saraswati, who founded the Society.

 Swami Adhyatmanandaji is visiting different cities across America in connection with Chidananda Centenary Celebration Tour 2016 to USA, Canada & UK. Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji has commenced his tour on June 22 from Chicago. Swamiji was in Atlanta for two days on July 3&4 and spoke about Swamiji in four different events organized by local communities. Swami Yatidharmanandaji who served swami Chidanandaji for long has also participated in these birth centenary celebrations.

Swami Adhyatmanandaji released a booklet “Divinity–Chidananda Thy Name” commemorating the birth centenary of Pujya Swami Chidanandaji. CHINMAYA MISSION ATLANTA CELEBRATE BIRTH CENTENARY OF THREE STALWARTS : Atlanta, GA: Chinmaya Mission Atlanta organized a triple colorful celebration commemorating the birth centenary of three stalwarts of India, viz., Swami Chinmayanandaji (1916-1993), founder Chinmaya Mission, M.S. Subbulakshmi (1916-2004), legendary musician and Swami Chidanandaji (1916-2008), successor of Swami Sivananda, founder of Divine Life Society. The birth centenary celebrations of trio were held on Sunday, July 3 in Chinmaya Niketan, Norcross in the holy presence of Swami Adhyatmanandaji, President of Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad. Swamiji was in Atlanta for two days as part of Sri Chidananda Birth Centenary Celebrations Tour to USA, Canada and UK. Other dignitaries present on the occasion are Acharya Dr. G.V. GANDHI FOUNDATION OF USA (GFUSA) CELEBRATES The 240th INDEPENDENCE DAY OF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA : Atlanta, GA: The Gandhi Foundation of USA (GFUSA) celebrated the 240th Independence Day of United States of America on Monday, July 4 with patriotic fervor in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site.

This year’s Chief guest of July 4, His Holiness Swami Adhyatmanandaji, President of the Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad kicked off the celebration by rendering Bapuji’s favorite song “Vaishnava Janato”. Then dignitaries present, Mr. D.V. Sing from the consulate General of India in Atlanta, Greg Pridgeon, former public official of city of Atlanta, Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji and Pujya Swami Yatidharmanandaji from India paid rich tributes, reverence and homage to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and ancestors of America who have given up their lives for freedom of America. << More>>

Chicago ( July 5, 2016 - July 8, 2016)

As always, devotee group here in Chicago Pujya Swamiji Maharaj welcomed Pujya Swamiji Maharaj with open arms. We are ever ready to receive HIM. Short three days here in Chicago were utilized fullest to the benefits of maximum people of Pujya Swamiji's holy presence. Morning Yoga was organized by Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago (HTGC). The temple committee members whole heartedly support Swamiji's Morning Yoga for many years.

Evening satsang on July 5^th was organized by Sri Arbindo devotee group - Swamiji talked on Guru's Grace bringing Swami Chidananda Darshan. Satsang on July 6^th was held at Gayatri Mandir- Swamijji's talk on Kundalini Yoga was enlightening. And a few home satsang, bhiksha, fulfilling the wish of devotee to celebrate his birthday (82 year grandpa), listening patiently some devotees' problem etc. filled Swamiji's all days.  

Concluding was the grand satsang on July 7^th at Sri Jalaram Mandir. It was indeed a joy to be a part of most memorable event of Jalaram Mandir Pranpratishta Mahotsav. That day, Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj ignited a special spark and created a big momentum with HIS holy presence & Kirtan. It reminded of he ecstatic site (that is read in the book) of Kirtan by Sri Chitanya Mahaprbhu ! Our hats off to Chirayubhai (Jalaram Mandir president) and his team to work so hard to make it a grand success. It is all the Guru Krupa ! Krupa of Sri Jalaram BAPA!

Houston ( July 13, 2016 - July 17, 2016)

At Houston Swamiji was received by Sri Divakarbhai Trivedi & his family in great reverence. Sri Divakarbhai, is a ardent devotee of Gurumaharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj. Swamiji arrived in the evening at their home. Home satsang was arranged by Sri Dhaval Trivediji's family.  Swamiji shared his thoughts on  our rich heritage of Hindu Culture, nurturing the children and family values. Swamiji gave simple formula of Bhajan & Bhojan together with family .

 Revered Sri Swamiji's Houston visit was highlighted with Centenary Celebration of Brother Monks, Guru Maharaj Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj & His Holiness Sri Chinmayanandaji Maharaj at Chinmaya Mission (Houston), Satsang program at Shree Sanatan Shiv Mandir, Morning Yoga at Swaminarayan Mandir, Yoga sessions for business groups. Credits goes to Sri Dhaval Trivediji for coordinating all the programs at Houston.   

 On July 14 & July 15 Two days morning yoga from 7.00am to 8.30 am at Shree Swaminarayan Temple (ISSO) were appreciated by all. Swamiji explained the science  & benefits of chanting Omkara and taught simple but very useful flexibility exercises, main stream Yogasana & Sivananda Pranayam, Shitali, Shitkari, Kapalbhati and Bhrastrika Pranayams.  

Sri Swamiji visited BAP's Swaminarayan mandir also and offered sincere prayers for the good health and long life of Shree Pramukh Swamiji Maharaj.

On July 14, Swamiji's discourse on the subject of  "Stress Management Through Yoga" at Borusan Mannesmann Pipe US Inc. was well received. He emphasized that a little but regular practice of Pranamyam, flexibility exercise, simple Yogasana can help daily stress.

Centenary Celebration of Brother Monks at Chinmaya Mission, Houston - On July, 15 2016 Swamiji visited Saumyakasi Shivalaya in the evening where he was greeted and welcomed by Acharya of Chinmaya Mission Shri Gaurang Nanavati ji. Swamiji shared his experiences with His Master Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj and H. H Sri Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj. What a closeness, mutual love, respect and reverence two Gurubhai had !

On July 16 Yoga workshop was organized at Unique Flo Group of Companies  9:00 am to 10:30 am. Swamiji explained the science and benefits of Omkara Chanting, Shitali, Shitkari, Kapalbhati and Bhrastrika Pranayams.  

Shree Sanatan Shiv Shakti  Mandir organized Swamiji's satsang for two days. Evening satsang on the subject of Gita Navanitam was enlightening. Swamiji shared his thoughts on how to live Gita in daily life. Swamiji picked up key verses from each chapter of Gita and explained how our every action could be selfless. Offer all our actions to God and be free from the bondage of Samsara. In summary. Swamiji emphasis that key to peace and bliss is within you, perform your dharma and attain God Realization in this very birth.  < More>> / Thanks letter

Kula -Kamala Ashram ( July 17, 2016 - July 24, 2016 )

Pujya Swami Adhyatmananda-Ji Maharaj arrived at Kula Kamala Ashram in Reading PA safely and joyfully on July 17th. He was welcomed with a Community Dinner and served the Grace of God through Satsang that same evening. All the people had hearts of gratitude and peace for the teaching of His Holiness.
During the week Swami-Ji has lead morning meditation each day and instructed the Kula Kamala YTT in the Holy Message of the Bhagavad Gita, and the Science of the Patanjali Yoga Sutra. The following are student reflections:

“He gives so much… Swami-Ji’s words and spirit will be with me forever.”

On July 19th, Swamiji traveled to Anoopam Mission in Allentown PA, where he was held in Great Honor and celebration of Guru Purnima. Swami-Ji was lovingly gifted with garlands of flowers and ten lotuses by Gayatri, a NJ devotee.

On July 20th. Swamiji returned to the Anoopam Mission, where he took part in their annual festival of adorning the Holy Murti. Swamiji was accompanied by a group of dedicated Karma and Bhakti Yogi’s from Kula Kamala Ashram each day during His visit to the Mission.
On both the 19th and 20th, Swami-Ji sat side by side and celebrated the Greatness of God with Revered Saheb-Ji, the Spiritual Master at Anoopam Mission, a true embodiment of Divine Love and Grace.

On July 22nd, His Holiness planted three trees, a Mimosa, Asian Pear and Birch, at Kula Kamala Ashram.
Swami-ji will travel on Sunday, July 24th, to London for further programming.

We have been and continued to be blessed by His presence in our life and His teachings. Wherever Swami-Ji goes, Love is there. Peace is there. Joy is there. God is there. We are better people as a result of His sharing of the Light.
