OM Namo Bhagawate Sivanandaya!
OM Namo Bhagawate Chidanandaya!
OM Namo Narayanaya!
Deepavali , A Festival of light, Joy & Illumination ( October 23, 2014)

"The sun does not shine there, nor do the moon and the stars, nor do lightnings shine and much less fire. All the lights of the world cannot be compared even to a ray of the inner light of the Self. Merge yourself in this light of lights and enjoy the supreme Deepavali"

"O Ram! The light of lights, the self-luminous inner light of the Self is ever shining steadily in the chamber of your heart. Sit quietly. Close your eyes. Withdraw the senses. Fix the mind on this supreme light and enjoy the real Deepavali, by attaining illumination of the soul."

"May you all attain full inner illumination! May the supreme light of lights enlighten your understanding! May you all attain the inexhaustible spiritual wealth of the Self! May you all prosper gloriously on the material as well as spiritual planes!" - Swami Sivananda << More>>

Early Morning Meditation Talks from " Ponder These Truths " by  Sri  Swami Chidananda

It is our ego-sense that we surrender, the idea I am doing. We surrender our self-will and put ourselves into His hands, so that we act as He dictates, we act as He teaches. So action is there, but no more self-will, no more action prompted by the mind, but action according to the will of God, according to the wisdom teachings of God and His saints."
When you put yourself under the will of God and His wisdom teachings, then you are a self-controlled person. You will not allow the senses to do whatever they wish or the mind to do whatever it wishes

Deepavali  Greetings from  H. H.Swami Adhyatmananda

Radiant Immortal Divinities,
Hari Om ! Om Namo Narayanaya!
Loving Pranams ! Happy Diwali !
May Almighty Lord and Sri Gurudev H. H. Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj's grace be ever upon you all! May you all rejoice in the Lord, Sing His Divine Name and abide in Him ! He is HERE and NOW.
Days, months and years come and go. We too grow old. Day by day our energy level comes down. But, so what ? Our understanding grows more and more. Our clarity and concept of life becomes more and more clear. The meaning at the end of the life is brightening each day more and illumining more, vibrantly in every breath.

Seek that eternity of eternal unfading beauty of the PRANA, The very cosmic energy. When there was no Sun, Moon, Jupiter or Saturn, when there were no earth, fire or water, these PRANA and SKY were there.

So, in the light of this tiny lamp delight in Eternity of Absolute Reality, feel that I am walking in the LIGH, in the light, in the light of LORD, in the Light of the LORD.
This LIGHT is your very nature. You are the LIGHT of the LIGHT, the JOY of the JOY and PEACE of the PEACE. You are born Divine. Seek the Refuge of PRANA, the Cosmic Energy within you . You will abide in that very Divinity and that is the only very aim of your life.
May God, Gurudev bless you in all the efforts and in the right direction of your Life Divine! God be With all of you!
Shine and Prosper, Happy Diwali!
Thy Own Self,
Swami Adhyatmananda

Osteoporosis : What Is Oseoporosis ? How Does the Osteoporosis Treated & Prevented? Does Practice of Flexibility exercises & Yogasana help ? Which Yogasana is recommended?

Osteoporosis is a condition characterized by the loss of the normal density of bone, resulting in fragile bone. Osteoporosis leads to literally abnormally porous bone that is more compressible like a sponge, than dense like a brick. This disorder of the skeleton weakens the bone causing an increase in the risk for breaking bones (bone fracture). Here the importance of proper nutrition can't undermined. Regular practice of flexibility exercises, Yogasana and Pranayama is essential for prevention and treatment of Osteoporosis. <<More>>

News & Activity report for the Month of September 2014
Divya Jivan / September 2014/ October 2014

To those men who worship Me alone, thinking of no other, of those ever united, I secure what is not already possessed and preserve what they already possess.(9:22)
Fix thy mind on Me; be devoted to Me; sacrifice unto Me; bow down to Me; having thus united thy whole self with Me, taking Me as the Supreme Goal, thou shalt verily come unto Me.( 9:34)

Fix thy mind on Me, be devoted to Me, sacrifice to Me, bow down to Me. Thou shalt come even to Me; truly do I promise unto thee, (for) thou art dear to Me.(18:65)

Abandoning all duties, take refuge in Me alone; I will liberate thee from all sins; grieve not.

"Chidanand Darshan" - through Life Incidences of Guru Maharaj
Centenary Celebratiion Year of H. H. Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj (Sept 24, 2014 - Sept 24, 2015)

Lord's Name - The Best Remedy
Sometimes Dr. Raoji's healing touch worked miracles. Once on a dark summer night an old lady appeared before him with her little girl who had been stung by a poisonous scorpion. The compassionate one immediately called her to his Kutir and led her by the flash of his torch. He did not have to apply any medicine. He only rubbed his little towel on the affected part chanting all the while the Lord's Names on his lips. The girl was instantaneously cured. Such was the power of love generated by the compassionate doctor that even poison lost its virulence.

"Veternary Doctor"
One day Dr. Raoji noticed a dog lying near the office room of the Ashram. It was full of sores and worms. It was clear that it had been in agony for some time. The tender heart of Rao Swamiji bled at the pathetic sight. He gave some medicines and injections and
dressed its affected parts with proper bandage and slept near the dog tending it the whole night. When the Ashramites saw this in the morning they were simply dazed. Gurudev remarked that Rao Swamiji was not a man but the very embodiment of compassion.
